Vintage Medicine Ball
Large leather Medicine Ball was used for boxing & weight training.
Excellent condition for it's age. Beautiful deep rich color.
The leather is still soft & supple. Laces are in great shape. Very little wear for one that's over 80 years old.
It was found in the attic of the old Chicago Daily News branch building in Wilmette. My dad was a branch manager there for 13 year during the 60's & 70's. When Marshall made the decision to shut down the Daily News; in favor of his pet paper the Sun Times, the building was cleared out. That's when my dad got the medicine ball. We've had it ever since.
